We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team as we continue to expand across South Carolina. Currently hiring in Horry, Georgetown and Williamsburg and counties working in preschool settings. Preschools operate on a calendar/schedule similar to school settings with all national holidays, Thanksgiving/Christmas/Spring breaks, and optional summers. New grads welcome to apply!
Responsibilities
- Assist the Occupational Therapist in developing and implementing effective treatment plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Develop and manage daily/weekly schedules; coordinating with schools/teachers as needed
- Educate staff and parents/caregivers on students' progress and childhood development
Qualifications
- Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is required.
- Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Experience or coursework in pediatrics
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with staff, families, and supervising OTs
- Ability to self-manage
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
