Our private school is dedicated to educating children with Autism and is looking for a licensed Intervention Specialist to join our High School team. Intervention Specialists provide a first-rate education to our students, take the lead in student's education and help them to achieve their greatest potential.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an effective education plan for the students in your classroom
- Ensure instructional material aligns with the Ohio Department of Education standards
- Communicate with other staff/family members about each student’s progress and struggles
- Prepare detailed lesson plans
- Participate in IEP (individual education plan) meetings
- Create a safe, productive classroom environment
Qualities and Experiences for this Position:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education
- Intervention Specialist License, required
- Clinical or educational experience with the autism population.
- Ability to complete all special education paperwork and monitor student progress.
- Valid Ohio Education License Necessary and must be able to pass a FBI/BCI background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
