Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble a variety of sandwiches, salads, and other menu items efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for retail sales transactions and cash handling.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders with enthusiasm, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Manage food handling responsibilities including stocking supplies, bussing tables, and ensuring proper food safety management practices.
• Assist in opening or closing duties such as cash reconciliation, cleaning procedures, and inventory checks.
• Support team members during busy hours by multitasking efficiently in food preparation, cashiering, and customer engagement.

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation within quick service or fast food restaurant environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly during peak hours.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices to ensure a safe dining environment.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management.
• Previous experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is a plus.
