Join Our Team as a Food Prep Associate at Potbelly!

In this role, you'll be the backbone of our sandwich-making operation, expertly slicing and prepping meats, cheeses, and vegetables to help us deliver delicious sandwiches and salads to our customers.
What You’ll Do:
- Food Prep Pro: You’ll take charge of slicing meats, cheeses, and veggies to perfection, ensuring we’re always ready to craft the best sandwiches in town.
- Versatile Team Player: When you’re not in food prep mode, you’ll jump into other associate duties, from creating finished products at various stations to delivering top-notch customer service.
- Keep it Clean: Maintain spotless workstations and slicing machines, ensuring everything meets our high standards of cleanliness and safety.

What We’re Looking For:
- At least 18 years of age.
- A love for food and a passion for quality.
- Regularly reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate, and key in data.
- Experience in food prep or food service is a plus, but if you’re quick to learn and have an eye for detail, we want to hear from you!
- Confident knife skills and the ability to work quickly while maintaining safety standards.
- A friendly, team-oriented attitude.
- Availability to work early morning hours and maintain a consistent schedule.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 3 hours.
- Must be able to lift between 20 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to Regularly reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate, and key in data.
- Comfortable working in both warm and cool environments.
- Tolerance for potential allergens like peanuts, dairy, shellfish, and gluten.

Pay: $12.50 - $13.50 per hour
