Must-Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent work experience with an emphasis on cost accounting
• Extensive knowledge of computers and various software programs, particularly competent with Excel
• Experience in agriculture/farming is a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft BI and AI is a plus

Responsibilities Include:

As a Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for all accounting functions for the Potandon Mini Plant, contracts, and joint ventures within the Variety Division. Your daily tasks will involve developing and analyzing profit and loss statements for these divisions, working closely with the operations variety team to provide management with crucial insights. You'll collaborate with growers, packers, and managers to ensure accurate revenue and expense tracking and use your expertise to provide cost analysis and reporting that identifies efficiencies and opportunities for improvement. You will also provide vital support to the VP of Finance as it relates to all aspects of the variety division accounting.
