Position Summary:
The Loaner Coordinator is responsible for managing the dealership’s loaner vehicle program, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for customers requiring temporary transportation while their vehicles are being serviced. This role involves coordinating vehicle availability, maintaining accurate records, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the scheduling and assignment of loaner vehicles to service customers
- Verify customer eligibility and ensure all required documentation is completed (insurance, driver’s license, agreements, etc.)
- Maintain accurate records of loaner vehicle usage, availability, and status
- Conduct vehicle check-in and check-out inspections, noting any damages or issues
- Ensure loaner vehicles are clean, fueled, and properly maintained at all times
- Communicate with the service department regarding vehicle availability and customer needs
- Monitor and track loaner fleet utilization and report any discrepancies
- Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs for loaner vehicles
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and insurance requirements
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns related to loaner vehicles
