Tool Room Attendant
Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Tool Room Attendant, where you'll play a vital role in managing and maintaining the tool and parts inventory essential for smooth manufacturing and welding service operations. Your expertise will ensure that tools, parts, and accessories are organized, accessible, and properly maintained to support production efficiency, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction is key when assisting our staff. Duties
- Receive, inspect, and catalog incoming tools, & parts, and accessories using inventory management systems.
- Organize and store tools and parts in designated areas to optimize accessibility and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of tool usage, parts
- Coordinate with procurement management to order replacement parts or tools based on demand planning and inventory control needs.
- Conduct regular audits of the tool room to ensure proper inventory levels, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Assist with shipping & receiving processes for outgoing parts or tools to internal departments or external suppliers.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse management, parts administration, or inventory control within manufacturing environments.
- Strong organizational skills, Multitasker
- Familiarity with supply chain management principles including procurement management, demand planning, sourcing strategies, and logistics inventory management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for data entry, reporting, and internal communication purposes.
- Excellent negotiation skills for parts sourcing and supplier management experience.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and parts administration tasks.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments including purchasing, logistics, sales, and customer service roles.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 60.0 – 78.0 per week
