Description: The Field Service Technician candidate will be responsible for diagnosis, repair, installation and preventive maintenance of mailing and shipping hardware and software used by our customers. The successful candidate will be called upon to use their technical and organized understanding of the products and services to assist customers in maximizing full productivity from their equipment.
Job Requirements:
· Strong mechanical aptitude and accompanying experience
· Proven experience and proficiency in electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair tools and testing equipment
· Knowledge and experience with PC hardware, software and peripherals
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Commitment to exceeding customer service expectations daily
· Ability to analyze and prioritize varying tasks and workloads daily and weekly
· Commitment to continuous technical learning and professional development
· A minimum of two years of proven experience in direct customer-facing, service- oriented roles
· Ability to communicate effectively in a multi-functional and diverse organization
· Ability to visit customer locations daily inside a 2-3 state area providing preventive, installation & repair services
· Provide onsite installation, demonstration and training of users on new equipment
· Provide accurate and complete documentation of work performed daily
· Occasional overnight travel as business dictates
· This position may require frequent lifting and / or moving items up to 55 lbs
