Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist customers with product selection, answer questions, and perform product demos when applicable
- Operate POS systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Upsell products and suggest complementary items to increase sales and meet store goals
- Maintain attractive merchandising by organizing displays and stocking shelves regularly
- Manage inventory levels by stocking new products and organizing stockroom areas
- Use effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors
- Conduct basic retail math calculations for transactions and inventory management
- Supervise or assist in supervising team members when needed, ensuring smooth store operations
- Follow safety procedures and ensure the store environment remains clean and organized
Experience
- No prior experience is required
- Bilingual skills are a plus to serve a diverse customer base effectively
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer engagement techniques
