Job description:
Our company is looking for a self-motivated, energetic and reliable individual to join our team of Retail Sales Associates. The ideal candidate will possess critical thinking skills, great communication, proficient computer skills, and experience working directly with customers to answer questions and provide helpful suggestions. The Retail Sales Associate position requires a fast-paced environment, so the successful applicant will be able to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once. This position is a part-time role (that could develop into full-time for the right candidate) that is hands-on role and focuses on assisting customers with purchases and sales, so applicants must also be comfortable working in an active retail setting. Prior experience in a retail shipping/packing store is required (independent pack and ship store, UPS/FedEx/Post Office/DHL). Must be willing to work rotating Saturdays 9-1 and MUST have experience working in a shipping store.
Responsibilities:
- Know how to ship domestic and international shipments;
- Know shipping regulations for all major carriers;
- Ensure proper packing for all shipments to avoid damage during transit;
- Processing payments;
- Dispatching drivers for our courier deliveries;
- Using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite to design and print promotional materials;
- All other duties as assigned
