Overview
Join our dynamic retail team as a Customer Service Associate and become the friendly face that helps customers find what they need while delivering exceptional service. In this energetic role, you will engage with shoppers, and create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will drive sales and ensure each customer leaves satisfied and inspired to return.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist customers with shipping, packaging, and mailing needs, ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Process shipments (UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, etc.) accurately and efficiently
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Package items securely and neatly
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and offering personalized recommendations
• Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, assisting with stock replenishment, and organizing backroom storage
• Uphold store policies on phone etiquette, cleanliness, safety, and overall store appearance to foster a professional environment
• Print, copy, fax, and scan documents as needed

Requirements

• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with diverse customers in bilingual settings if applicable
• Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math for accurate transactions
• Demonstrated ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and inventory management tasks efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and proactive approach to sales opportunities
• Familiarity retail environments are advantageous but not required
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 45 lbs., and work flexible hours including weekends or evenings
• Willing to travel to our other stores as needed
• Upselling and cross-selling
• Willing to work any days of the week including weekends

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred
• Basic computer and point‑of‑sale skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. and stand for extended periods
• Friendly, professional, and dependable
