Position Summary
The Financial Aid Director overseeing UG Continuing/Military/Grad Teams (the Director) is responsible for the supervision and day-to-day operations of the financial aid functions for the University’s Undergrad Continuing, UG Re-Entry, Military, and Grad populations. Responsibilities include overseeing and training staff in federal financial aid to be competent financial aid advisors to assist students and families in determining the best method of payment for their personal situation, including promoting financial literacy. The Director must be proficient in all Title IV federal regulations and able to oversee the training and development of the financial aid staff. They are responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance in all aspects of the University’s continuing population and assisting other areas of financial aid as needed. The Director works closely with the Directors of Regulatory Compliance, Enrolling Admissions, Academic Advising, and Student Accounts, and is a key member of the Functional Leadership Team. The Director is responsible for promoting an exceptional student experience.

- This position offers the option to work remotely. Candidates must connect equipment directly to their home router (Post provides a 50-foot Ethernet cable; no wireless connections). - Candidates are responsible for ensuring their internet meets these standards before the start date. A dedicated, quiet home workspace free from distractions is also required.
- Maintain expert knowledge in the field of student financial aid to maintain continuous compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
- Ensure continuous improvement of the processes that support the University’s retention of students.
- Oversee the Financial Aid operation functions of the assigned Financial Aid teams.
- Recruit, manage, and motivate personnel to develop a sense of teamwork that promotes exceptional student experience.
- Ensure cooperative and timely support and communication to students, advising, and administrative staff.
- Implement, manage, and maintain policies and procedures for tuition planning and financial aid awarding processes to ensure efficient operations while maintaining federal, state, and university compliance at all times.
- Work in conjunction with the University Director of Financial Aid to ensure all Federal and State enrollment and financial reporting requirements are met.
- Serve as a liaison with Advising Management, Academic Affairs, Student Services, and students and families in the planning and assistance of preparing continuing students in retention efforts to maintain current students’ enrollment at the University.
- Responsible for keeping informed of changing regulations regarding federal and state guidelines.
- Prepare management reports of a statistical and financial nature.
- Respond to Customer Service issues and concerns.
- This position requires some evening and weekend hours to meet the operational needs of the Student Finance Office
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of Title IV management experience; 3 of those years should be at a leadership level.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a strong emphasis on motivation, delegation, and effective communication of goals.
- Excellent computer skills; able to use Microsoft Office products and Campus Nexus Student (CNS – Anthology)
- Must be eligible to enroll in the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS).

Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
