Post Rehab is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Civita Care Center at MeadowBrook. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a compassionate clinician who enjoys helping residents strengthen everyday skills, improve functional abilities, and work toward greater independence.
What You'll Do
- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, strengthening, coordination, balance, and functional tasks
- Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising OT
- Monitor resident response to therapy and communicate progress or changes
- Reinforce adaptive techniques, therapeutic activities, and safety strategies
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with OT, PT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications
- Active Connecticut COTA license required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative care team
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
- New graduate COTAs are welcome to apply
