What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Teller- Covington position at Post Office Employees Credit Union?
We are looking for a reliable teller to process all transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be the “frontline” of our Credit Union and will play a fundamental role in achieving our member satisfaction and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable posting transactions daily, communicating with members, and cross selling products/services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine transactions (cash checks, accept deposits and loan payments, process withdrawals etc.)
- Assess members needs and introduce new products and services (credit cards, auto loans etc.)
- Go the “extra mile” to build relationships, member loyalty and satisfaction
- Comply with regulatory requirements
- Manage risk in every transaction and detect fraudulent transactions to prevent losses
- Resolve members’ issues and provide relevant information
Skills
- Banking Experience minimum 1 year
- Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g. cash drawers, receipt validators, money counters)
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Member satisfaction-oriented
- Attention to detail and mathematical skills
- Excellent sales skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
