About the Role
We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager of Maintenance to lead maintenance and utilities operations at our Battle Creek manufacturing facility. In this role, you’ll drive a proactive maintenance culture focused on predictive, preventive, and planned practices to maximize reliability, ensure food safety, and support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a multi-skilled maintenance and utilities team
- Drive preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability
- Oversee plant systems including production equipment, HVAC, boilers, and ammonia/glycol systems
- Manage maintenance parts, inventory, and cost controls
- Track and improve KPIs tied to uptime, reliability, and cost
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards (including SQF)
- Lead CMMS utilization and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) practices
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations to optimize plant performance
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering preferred
- 10 years of maintenance/engineering experience, including 8 years in leadership
- Strong technical expertise in plant maintenance and utilities systems
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience driving preventive maintenance and reliability initiatives
- CMRP certification (or ability to obtain) preferred
- Food manufacturing experience is a plus

Pay: $99,119.00 - $154,626.00 per year
