What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant or Personal Care Aide position at Positive Step Home Care Agency?
- Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements
- Assist the nurses and other staff as needed
- Assist with daily living activities.
- Help patients with personal hygiene. Provide patients with bedpans, help with baths, shampoos and showers
- Certified Nursing Assistant skills
- Basic computer skills
- Completion of a state-approved CNA certification training course
- Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
- Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner")
- High School diploma or GED
