What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LSW, LAC) position at Positive Reset Services?
Mental Health Outpatient Clinic in Elizabeth, NJ looking for a motivated licensed therapist (LSW, LAC, or LAMFT) to provide in-person and/or tele-health counseling services to NJ residents. The company does offer you a laptop to use in office. Any and all days are available. Flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical assessments using a variety of sources, methods, and approaches including, but not limited to, standardized testing tools to evaluate and diagnose clients with behavioral, social, or emotional problems referred by counselors, psychologists, district staff and outside organizations
- Provide crisis intervention, individual and group treatment, psychotherapy, and family services for referred clients
- Provide ongoing treatment and counsel and counseling; monitor progress in program-related activities and effectiveness of psychotherapy and treatment; process related forms and applications; follow-up and re-evaluate appropriately
- Maintain confidentiality of treatment records, reports, and other sensitive and privileged information
- Attend and participate in assigned meetings, conferences, and in-services
- Operate office equipment including a computer and assigned software
- Perform related duties, as assigned
