Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of multifamily affordable housing communities. The ideal candidate will support property managers, ensure strong operational performance, and maintain compliance with affordable housing regulations including HUD, Section 8, and LIHTC programs. This position will work closely with the resourceful corporate team and compliance department and requires strong leadership, organization, and experience managing multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of multiple affordable housing communities.
- Supervise, support, and mentor on-site Property Managers and staff.
- Train and onboard new property managers.
- Review tenant files and certifications for compliance accuracy.
- Prepare properties for MOR (Management & Occupancy Reviews) and respond to findings.
- Ensure compliance with HUD, Section 8, and LIHTC regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in affordable housing property management.
- Experience with HUD, Section 8, and LIHTC programs required.
- Experience supervising property managers or multiple sites preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel between properties within the portfolio.
- Experience with property management software such as Yardi, RealPage, or similar is a plus.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
