Job Duties
- Align, practice and work with the agency mission, vision, guiding principles, the trauma informed care, the Neurosequential Model and the Re-ED philosophy.
- Review records with QA provided checklist weekly and work collaboratively with PEP QA department, work collaboratively with the QA department on reporting, compliance and QA related activities
- Participate in Aetna/ODM meetings such as Population Health
- Work with PEP Trainers for paperwork compliance and deadlines such as, CANS every 90 days, contacts and Child Family Team meetings (CFT) per month
- Assist with writing processes such as Escalation Policy and Procedures for program
- Review job descriptions, job annual reviews, make sure they all align and rewrite as necessary
- Responsible for running and distributing reports related to compliance topics
- Meet with Director, supervisors, trainers, Care Coordinator’s about the report outcomes and how we can improve the stats
- Compile and creating data based upon request from Aetna OhioRISE
- Work collaboratively with IT to create data reports
- Bachelor’s degree required, mental health license preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of mental health diagnoses, symptomatology and treatment programming of children/youth.
- Experience working with behaviorally/emotionally challenged children/youth.
- Communicate accurately and effectively, both written and orally.
- Skill or experience work in electronic health records, excel spreadsheets, and other Microsoft applications
- Demonstrate effective decision-making skills and utilize good judgment.
- Work professionally, effectively, and collaboratively with others. Physical requirements
- Ability to participate in physical interventions, when necessary, and with fidelity to the methods taught through the Therapeutic Crisis Intervention model. Physical interventions require intense physical exertion. The object is to safely control/maintain a struggling and aggressive young person ranging from 50 – 250 pounds.
- Physical requirements include, but arenot limited to: kneeling, possibly for extended periods of time on hard surfaces, bending, twisting, and holding.
- Ability to participate in the outdoor education activities and field trips.
- Ability to use a computer.
- Ability to move around the classroom/center and sit for more than an hour at a time.
- Ability to meet driver eligibility standards and operate an agency leased vehicle.
