About The Role
As a Solutions Engineer at Posh, you will be the technical lead for our sales team, helping community banks and credit unions understand how our conversational AI can transform their customer service. You'll partner closely with Account Executives, Client Expansion Managers, and our product teams to guide clients through the entire evaluation process.
You will own the technical relationship from the very first discovery call all the way through to a successful close and implementation handover. Whether you are navigating complex security reviews, building and presenting custom live demos, or mapping out integrations with telephony and APIs, you will be the trusted expert who demonstrates to our clients exactly how Posh works and the value we deliver.

About The Role
As a Solutions Engineer at Posh, you will be the technical lead for our sales team, helping community banks and credit unions understand how our conversational AI can transform their customer service. What You’ll Do
- Lead technical discovery and solution design, partnering with Account Executives from the first call through close and handover to implementation.
- Partner with the Client Expansion Manager to scope and close expansion opportunities where the technical challenge is determining how new products fit into an existing deployment.
- Build and deliver live demonstrations of the Posh platform tailored to each institution's specific use cases, call drivers, and banking stack.
- Own the technical side of vendor evaluations, including RFPs, security questionnaires, vendor due diligence, and third-party risk reviews common in financial services.
- Work alongside Professional Services leadership to scope integrations with telephony, contact center platforms, core banking, digital banking, and authentication systems, while setting realistic delivery expectations.
- Design and run proofs of concept that demonstrate measurable business impact, such as call containment, self-service resolution, and agent efficiency.
- Explain how the Posh platform works to mixed audiences, ranging from executives and contact center leaders to IT and security teams.
- Partner with Product and Implementation teams, carrying prospect requirements back to internal stakeholders and handing off accounts cleanly at close.
- Bring 5 years of experience in a customer-facing solutions engineering, sales engineering, or solutions architecture role.
- A background selling to or working with credit unions or banks, along with familiarity with the financial institution technology and vendor ecosystem.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of partnering with Account Executives to win technical evaluations on complex, high-value deals.
- Possess hands-on technical ability rather than high-level technical aptitude alone; you can present Posh's recommendations with confidence and clearly explain the industry standards we have set.
- Show real, practical experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven integrations, including a solid understanding of authentication, payloads, retries, and debugging.
- Maintain strong demo-building and presentation skills, with a natural ability to tailor a demo flow to a specific buyer persona.
- Translate technical capabilities into clear business outcomes for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Operate comfortably in highly regulated spaces, taking ownership of security reviews and compliance-heavy evaluations.

- FinTech Ecosystem Knowledge: Experience integrating with core banking systems (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry, FIS, Corelation) and digital banking platforms (e.g., Q2, Alkami, Banno).
- Telephony & CCaaS Expertise: Experience integrating with telephony and contact center platforms, such as SIP trunking, call transfer and routing, IVRs, and CCaaS systems (e.g., Genesys, NICE, Five9, Amazon Connect, Cisco).
- AI Exposure: Exposure to conversational AI, voice AI, or LLM-based products.
