Posh Textiles / Silk Crafts is seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Manager to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead sales initiatives, develop new business relationships, and drive growth within the textile and craft industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and experience in B2B sales, technology sales, or related fields. As an Inside Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound sales activities, utilizing CRM software, and fostering long-term client partnerships to expand our market presence. Silk Crafts supplies fabrics for the home furnishing market. We operate with fast quote turnaround, sample support, and time-sensitive shipments. The Inside Sales Manager will work across all our brands, ensuring a consistent customer experience while coordinating closely with the Logistics Manager so orders ship accurately and on time.
Role Summary
Lead the inside sales function (quotes, follow-up, order accuracy, team accountability) for all our brands, while partnering with the Logistics Manager to ensure correct shipping, proactive ETA communication, and clean resolution of exceptions.
Work Arrangement (Hybrid / Travel)
This role is based in Syosset, NY and may be hybrid with travel as needed. Work-from-home flexibility depends on workload and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Own quote-to-order execution pipelines: inquiries, samples, quotes, follow-ups, and closing
- Ensure order entry accuracy (ship-to, quantities, item/style/color, notes, deadlines) before releasing to logistics
- Run a quick daily check-in with the Logistics Manager for: hot shipments, backorders/partials, and delivery issues
- Manage customer communication on ETAs, partial shipments, substitutions, and delays (logistics handles the carrier/warehouse actions)
- Maintain consistent pricing/quote standards, templates, and SOPs across all our brands
- Track key metrics: quote turnaround, open quote aging, conversion rate, order errors/reships
What You Own vs. Coordinate
- Own: sales execution, customer follow-up cadence, order accuracy, customer updates, inside sales standards across all our brands
- Coordinate: shipment priorities exceptions with Logistics Manager (claims/late/damage handled operationally by logistics; communicated by sales)
Qualifications
- 3 years in inside sales, sales operations, order management, or customer-facing account management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail (addresses, quantities, ship methods, deadlines)
- Comfortable using ERP/CRM systems and shipping portals (training provided where needed)
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $60,000 commission benefits
