Job Description:
The Salon Coordinator is responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience while maintaining smooth daily operations within the salon. This role combines elevated front desk coordination and management of the salon's daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and curate tailored service journeys for clients, anticipating preferences and enhancing their comfort
- Manage guest communications, bookings, confirmations, and inquiries across software, phone, text, and email
- Process check-ins, check-outs, gift cards, memberships, and payments accurately and efficiently
- Oversee appointment scheduling, confirming and adjusting proactively to ensure efficient salon flow
- Support daily salon operations, including opening/closing duties, maintaining cleanliness, and setting up or resetting technician stations as needed
- Track, restock, and organize inventory for backbar and retail products
- Can operate independently and as part of a team
- Able to handle customer service issues with professionalism and discretion.
- Support events, promotions and client education on product recommendations
- Serve as the communication bridge between technicians, management, and clients
- Lead by example with consistency, reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
- Suggest and implement process improvements for smoother operations
- Model and uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization
Social Media Content Creation:
- Capture and curate visually appealing photos and videos showcasing the salon's services, products, and team
- Develop engaging social media posts and captions to promote the salon's brand, offerings, and client experiences
- Collaborate with the Salon Owner to develop and execute a cohesive social media content strategy
Hybrid Service Support (for the right candidate):
- Provide professional nail services when required (e.g., for walk-ins, last-minute bookings, or technician absences)
- Maintain active Cosmetology or Nail Technician license and uphold the salon's hygiene and service standards
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of experience in customer service in a professional salon/spa environment
- Proficiency with booking systems and client communication
- Demonstrated multitasking, scheduling, and problem-solving skills
- Thrives in a fast paced environment
- Polished, client-focused demeanor and professionalism
- Openness to feedback and a commitment to continuous improvement
- Active Cosmetology or Nail Technician license (if opting for the hybrid service support component)
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
