We are conducting a search for an experienced General Manager to lead all
operations at our newly opened, design-forward luxury boutique hotel in downtown Bloomington.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic, hands-on leader who excels at building teams, driving
performance, and creating exceptional guest experiences.
As the property’s operational leader, the General Manager will oversee the guest journey, operational excellence, and financial results — bringing energy, precision, and creativity to every detail.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of daily operations, ensuring excellence in service and guest
satisfaction.
- Lead F&B operations, including bar programming and activation, to maximize guest
engagement and profitability.
- Drive revenue growth through smart rate management and proactive sales strategies.
- Build strong relationships with ownership, team members, and community partners.
- Inspire and mentor staff through effective communication, clear expectations, and
accountability.
- Monitor performance metrics and financial results to inform operational decisions.
- Uphold standards while fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 8 years of progressive hospitality leadership experience; boutique, lifestyle, or
independent hotel background preferred.
- Proven success in both rooms and F&B operations.
- Strong understanding of revenue management, sales, and marketing fundamentals.
- Energetic leadership style that resonates with a diverse guest base, including university visitors and business travelers.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and team-building skills.
