Job Summary
Posh Closet Finds is a growing online resale and consignment business looking for an outgoing, reliable, and energetic Live Setting Host to run our Whatnot live shopping shows.
This is a great position for someone who enjoys fashion, thrifting/resale, social media, and being on camera. Previous Whatnot or live-selling experience is a plus, but we are open to training the right person.
You will primarily be responsible for preparing for and hosting live shows. Our team handles packing and shipping after the show, allowing you to focus on creating an engaging live-shopping experience and generating sales.
Responsibilities
- Host approximately 3 Whatnot live shows per week
- Prepare and organize merchandise before each show.
- Present clothing, accessories, and other resale inventory on camera.
- Describe items accurately, including brand, size, condition, and key features.
- Interact with viewers and answer questions during live shows.
- Keep the show upbeat, engaging, and moving at a good pace.
- Maintain an organized selling area before and after shows
- Work with the Posh Closet Finds team to determine inventory and themes for upcoming shows
Ideal Candidate
- Comfortable and confident speaking on camera
- Friendly, energetic, and able to engage with an online audience
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working independently
- Interested in fashion, resale, thrifting, or e-commerce
- Able to quickly learn brands, products, and selling strategies
- Sales or customer-service experience is helpful
- Previous Whatnot, Tiktok Live, Livestream, retail, or social-selling experience is a major plus
Schedule
Approximately 2-3 hours per show, 3 days per week.
We are flexible when establishing the schedule and can work around other commitments, However, once show days and time are established, we are looking for someone who can maintain a consistent weekly schedule.
Compensation
$20 per hour
Potential for additional hours and growth as our Whatnot sales channel expands.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
