Restoration Technician / Crew Chief – Water Mitigation
Poseidon Restoration | Poulsbo, WA
Full-Time | $25-$35/hour
Poseidon Restoration is growing, and we're looking for dependable, hardworking people to join our mitigation team. We are hiring at both the Restoration Technician and Crew Chief levels, so whether you have restoration experience or are looking to learn a skilled trade and build a career, we'd like to hear from you.
No restoration experience is required for the Technician position. We will train the right person. Candidates with water mitigation experience, IICRC certifications, and the ability to independently lead restoration projects may qualify as a Crew Chief.
What You'll Do
- Respond to residential and commercial water, fire, mold, and sewage losses
- Perform water extraction, selective demolition, cleaning, and structural drying
- Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment
- Take moisture readings and document jobsite conditions and progress
- Maintain accurate photos, equipment logs, and job documentation
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, and other customers
- Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools
- Participate in a rotating after-hours/on-call schedule
For Crew Chief Candidates
In addition to the responsibilities above, Crew Chiefs are expected to lead mitigation projects in the field, direct technicians, communicate with customers, maintain complete job documentation, and ensure work is performed safely and according to company and industry standards.

- Professional communication and customer-service skills
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to participate in emergency and after-hours response when scheduled
- Restoration experience and IICRC certifications are preferred for Crew Chief candidates but not required for entry-level Technician candidates
Compensation
$25-$35 per hour, depending on experience, certifications, and position level.
Entry-level candidates can start as Restoration Technicians with opportunities to develop into Crew Chiefs and continue advancing within the company. Experienced candidates capable of independently managing mitigation projects will be considered for Crew Chief-level compensation.
