About the Opportunity
We are looking for a detail oriented and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at POS360. As a Sales Assistant you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Working under the supervision of the Sales Manager, you will receive comprehensive training to handle various tasks related to client technical support and product knowledge.
What You'll Do
- Manage sales leads board, respond within 1 business day to schedule demo. Continue follow up via phone or email until prospect is scheduled for demo on calendar.
- Schedule demos with prospects, add to calendar with relevant contact information including prospect’s name, phone number, name and address of store, any additional information gathered on call (ex. current system being used, number and type of locations). If remote/video demo, confirm with client and include type and links if needed (ex. Zoom or Facetime, Whatsapp)
- Coordinate demo schedule with systems administration team to ensure experience center is ready and functioning at standard
- Prepare client prospect briefs ahead of demo including relevant information such as name, phone number, location name and address, current system being used, referral source (ex. Instagram lead, referral from existing client, etc.), printed and provided to Sales Manager
- Create quotes and follow up post-demo with prospect to ensure all information was clear and decision can be made. Funnel back any follow up questions to sales, track progress on Slack/SalesForce
- Make outgoing calls to convert potential existing clients not on POS to schedule demos
- Manage Sales Manager calendar
- Manage Sales Manager travel schedule, book travel including flights and hotels, gather expenses post trip for submission to Accounting.
- Greet and welcome onsite prospects, prep for introduction to Sales Manager
- Post relevant notes in Slack/Salesforce to track progress of lead through sales cycle
- Ensure prospects converting to clients through appropriate process with ACO and Account Management
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education Requirement: High School Diploma . 2 years of experience in sales.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. SalesForce experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to navigate language barriers.
