Lunch Monitor
Position Purpose
Supervise students during grade-level lunches to ensure safety and maintain respectful environment within the cafeteria during lunch.
Essential Performance Responsibilities
- Assisting with opening/lunch set up, providing water and napkins, etc. when needed,
- Cleaning tables between lunches
- Problem-solving with kids when necessary
- Monitoring the safety of students with known allergies (training provided).
- Creating a respectful environment during lunch time
- Communicating with staff when a problem arises
- This can be fast paced and does require someone to be on their feet for the duration of the time on duty.
- Monday - Friday, 10:20 - 1:10
Physical and Mental Demands, Work Hazards
Works in school building environments.
Education
High School Diploma or GED required
FLSA Status: Exempt
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
