Job Summary and Qualifications

Plans, organizes, directs and controls the PRH Facilities Management Program (Utilities, Security, Life Safety, Telecommunications, Facilities Maintenance, Construction Projects Execution and BioMedical Equipment oversight). Supports the V.P. of Engineering and Facilities Management by overseeing all Facilities Budgeting and Project Programming aspects of the Department. Ensures Hospital Environment of Care Processes are in full compliance with applicable NFPA, OSHA, NEC, TJC, Federal, Local, and State regulations.

Supervises (positions): Assistant Director of Facilities Management, Lead Maintenance Technician, Project Coordinator, Off-Sites Facility Technician, Telecommunications/BioMedical Technician

Special qualifications: Excellent personnel management skills. Must be highly proficient in the management skills of planning, budgeting, program execution, coordination and measuring departmental activities as they relate to the hospital Maintenance, Utilities, Construction, Bio-Medical Equipment, Safety, and Security.

Education & Experience:

2 year Associate Degree in related field - Required

5 Years of Experience in hospital based Facilities Director role - Required
