POSISTION SUMMARY
Our expanding flooring enterprise is currently searching for a driven and precise Assistant Project Manager to join the team. Operating from our Portsmouth, NH headquarters, this position provides critical operational support and coordination for varied residential and commercial flooring assignments. We seek a professional who demonstrates exceptional organizational skills, technological proficiency, and the capability to navigate diverse priorities within a high-speed business environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support PMs in managing timelines, organizing workflows, and monitoring site progress
- Serve as a primary contact for homeowners, vendors, and flooring installation teams
- Develop and oversee essential paperwork, including work orders and logistics plans
- Monitor milestones to ensure every project adheres to established budgets and dates
- Coordinate supply deliveries and site logistics to facilitate seamless installations
- Utilize project management software to maintain thorough and precise internal records
- Provide essential assistance with financial tracking, billing, and general office duties
- Facilitate conflict resolution on-site while delivering a high-quality client experience
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3-5 years within the flooring sector or foundational construction knowledge
- Prior involvement with residential or commercial flooring assignments is highly valued
- Exceptional capacity for structural organization and managing professional timelines
- Technologically proficient with expertise in Google Workspace and digital project tools
- Capability to balance varied tasks effectively in a high-speed business environment
- Superior interpersonal communication skills coupled with proactive problem-solving
- Demonstrated self-initiative and a rigorous focus on operational accuracy
- Possession of a current and valid driver's license
