You will serve as a MACHINIST INSPECTOR in the Non-Nuclear Receipt Inspection Branch (Code 133.3), Non-Nuclear Inspection Division, Quality Assurance Department, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, Maine.

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability to Inspect as a Machinist Inspector , WG-3414-12 while performing the following duties:
Demonstrating thorough knowledge of, and skill in, non-nuclear machined parts inspection processes.
Reviewing job orders and other work authorization and/or work description documents and ensuring required technical procedures, plans, blueprints, materials and tools are available.
Reviewing work status in progress and when completed to ensure instructions on inspection sequence and deadlines have been met.
Working alongside other Machined Parts Inspectors, demonstrating proper work/inspection methods.
