Description
Responsible for providing service to customers, sales, and drivers throughout the loading and delivery process, including quick responses to inquiries and problem resolution.
Responsibilities
- Service wholesale and customer requests and needs while communicating effectively to all parties
- Setup and manage load board for drivers for optimal routing and efficiency
- Monitor load process through Fuel Track system and ensure timely delivery of product
- Monitor inventory levels of Keep Fill customers, Fuel Marts, and freight contracts to avoid retains and run-outs
- Work with wholesale to determine pull points and driver capacity by region and load demand
- Provide service for driver and customer questions
- Book customer orders for Home Heating Oil and Bulk Fuel Deliveries
- Review and improve logistics processes and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous logistics dispatch/scheduling experience preferred
- Knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft and logistics application software
- Ability to solve problems and work in high pressure situations, using independent judgement and discretion
- Ability to work well in teams with staff from all departments
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Excellent personal skills and positive attitude
- Ability to work in high-demand environment; adaptability to change
