Duties
- Lead and supervise front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery across all dining areas, including casual dining, fine dining, and catering events
- Oversee shift management, ensuring proper staffing levels, smooth transitions, and efficient workflow during busy hours
- Train and develop team members on food handling, customer service standards, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and food safety protocols
- Manage customer relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
- Control inventory levels for front-of-house supplies and assist with food preparation when necessary to support kitchen operations
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile registers at shift end
- Coordinate with kitchen management on food production schedules, quality standards, and cleanliness to ensure consistency in service
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality supervision within quick service or casual dining environments
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety regulations, and food handling procedures
- Expertise in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, interviewing, and development
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
- Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, and food management practices to optimize operational efficiency
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness and safety
