Job Description:Portledge School seeks to hire a dynamic Middle/Upper School mathematics teacher for a full time leave replacement position from April 2026-June 2026. The ideal candidate will have a strong mathematics background with the flexibility to effectively teach Pre-Algebra, PreCalculus, Calculus (college prep and AP) as well as IB Analysis and Approaches. This individual should be driven to create a classroom environment where student learning is a non-negotiable goal and passion is evident on a daily basis. Responsibilities include teaching 6 sections of mathematics, participating collegially in meetings and initiatives of the mathematics department, serving as an advisor to a group of ten upper school students, and taking an active role in the life of the school community.
