- Sufficiently good physical condition with the ability to work 6 hours while standing
- Capable of doing paperwork and computerized point of sale
- Familiar with proper food safety procedures and food preparation, including maintaining personal hygiene, washing and slicing fruit and vegetables, proper food temperatures, avoiding cross-contamination, packaging food to maintain food quality, displaying food attractively, keeping surfaces and work area clean, and washing dishes
- Ability to follow detailed directions and perform tasks independently after leaned and all other duties as assigned.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with co-workers and students
- Ability to lift at least 30 lbs
- High school diploma or GED equivalent

TITLE: Cafeteria Worker II (0.75 FTE, School Year) Portland High
POSITION OVERVIEW:
This part-time, 0.75 FTE Cafeteria Worker II position is based at Portland High School with a tentative schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m (30 hours per week). Work hours can fluctuate depending on student lunch schedule and other variable needs, so flexibility will be required to meet the current and future needs of the Food Service Department.
