TITLE: Building Custodian II (2nd Shift, Full Time) - Moore MiddleOpen until filled
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the direction of the head custodian, the selected candidate will clean, empty trash, dust, mop, disinfect, wash, polish, wipe, paint, remove/shovel snow, receive/stock supplies, strip/wax floors, use lifting/moving equipment, operate machinery, make deliveries, replace light bulbs, work from ladders, report hazards, secure the building and perform other custodial tasks as trained and assigned. The selected candidate will be required to perform manual labor including, but not limited to, lifting a minimum of 50 lbs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, twisting, bending, climbing and repetitive motion. Successful candidate will have to pass a post-offer physical.
The selected candidate will need to communicate regularly with vendors and other staff onsite, so English proficiency is required.
The selected candidate will have the knowledge, skill and abilities highlighted above as well as a high school diploma or GED.
