We are in search of a proficient Front Desk Coordinator to join our prestigious Plastic Surgery Practice. We seek an enthusiastic and well-organized individual to oversee front desk operations and serve as the receptionist and brand ambassador for our esteemed plastic surgery team. The ideal candidate should be meticulous, self-driven, capable of excelling both independently and within a collaborative setting, and proficient in juggling multiple tasks. Our team is dedicated to providing the utmost quality of care to our patients, making prior experience in public-facing roles essential. The perfect candidate will exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with advanced computer proficiency. A positive and professional demeanor is a must. While a minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical setting is preferred, we are open to considering candidates with a service-oriented background.
The Front Office Coordinator is the practice's first impression and embodies our brand promise. This individual is responsible for skillfully directing incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments, greeting patients, overseeing front desk activities, and guaranteeing the implementation of defined patient communication and organizational work processes.
Responsibilities:
· Checking patients in and out for appointments.
· Collecting any money due prior to or after the appointment.
· Answering phones and scheduling patients or routing calls to appropriate staff.
· Distribute all incoming mail and faxes.
· Upload patient photos.
· Confirm all appointments via telephone.
· Must be technically savvy and effectively use electronic medical record systems.
· Effectively manage front office duties while assisting other areas of the office to support and excel in the practice.
· Accomplish all assigned tasks in a timely and trustworthy manner with consistent results.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in a medical office is required. Previous experience in aesthetics or plastic surgery is a bonus!
