Job Summary
Budtenders are responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by providing knowledgeable product recommendations, ensuring compliance with all OLCC regulations and company policies, and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient retail environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, adaptable, and committed to supporting both the success of the team and the overall operation of the dispensary.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by educating customers and recommending products based on their needs and preferences.
- Process transactions accurately while adhering to all OLCC regulations and company policies.
- Maintain current knowledge of cannabis products, brands, promotions, and industry trends.
- Replenish inventory, maintain product organization, and ensure displays are accurate, fully stocked, and presentation-ready.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant sales floor and back-of-house.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate product shortages, discrepancies, or quality concerns.
- Communicate professionally and collaborate effectively with team members to support daily operations.
- Exercise sound judgment, attention to detail, and accountability in all aspects of the role.
- Adapt to changing business needs and perform additional duties as assigned.
