Assistant Property Manager

Portland Homes and Commercial Properties is looking for an assistant property manager. In this role, you will be called upon to do many things. You will have exposure to and be involved in all aspects of property management. You will learn and achieve as much as you are willing to put into the job.

Job Responsibilities

On any given day, you can be called upon to:

• Answer phones
• Show vacant units
• Perform property inspections
• Write notices
• Run errands (e.g., meet vendors, run keys to a property, etc.)
• Assist maintenance with taking work orders and performing follow up
• Audit insurance compliance of tenants, vendors, and owners
• ...and more

Job Qualifications:

• Patience
• Mature and articulate
• Comfortable with conflict and able to de-escalate
• Strong writing skills
• Strong computer skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Pass a thorough background check
• Possess a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a reliable vehicle
• Lift, carry, pull or push 50 lbs
• Climb stairs, step stools
• Walk on uneven surfaces
• Use arms, wrists and hands to grasp, squeeze and manipulate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
