Production Coordinator

Cache House is a cannabis brand built on a simple standard: deliver product on spec and on time, every time. We operate across Oregon and Colorado, and while a lot of the market is pulling back, we're doing the opposite - we're expanding, and Denver is where our next chapter of growth is being built. The people on this team are builders: hands-on, accountable, and invested in getting it right. We move fast and expect the same from everyone we bring on.

We're looking for a Production Coordinator to run Cache House production on the ground in Denver and build our Colorado crew from the ground up. This is the first dedicated production hire in our Colorado operation - you won't be inheriting someone else's setup, you'll be shaping it.

This is a hands-on, on-the-floor role. You'll be on the line - running it, covering it, and teaching it - not managing from a desk. Today the Denver crew is small and part-time; your job is to turn that into a reliable, full-strength operation: cross-training current operators, helping bring on and train new heads as we scale, and personally keeping the line moving in the meantime. Your hands will get dirty. That's expected and respected here.

You'll report to the Regional Operations Manager, who splits time between Oregon and Colorado - which means you'll be the senior Cache House presence on-site day to day. That's real autonomy and real ownership. It also means we need someone who operates independently: you figure out what needs to happen and make it happen, rather than waiting to be told. Because you're embedded at a co-manufacturing partner's facility, a lot of this job is influence without authority - getting things done through people you don't directly manage.

Build & Lead the Crew

• Run daily production, set the pace, and hold the standard
• Cross-train current operators so no station depends on a single person, and get them running independently
• Help recruit, onboard, and train new operators as our operation grows
• Be the first line of response when something goes wrong on the floor

Day-to-Day Production

• Keep production flowing — spot bottlenecks, surface blockers, and solve problems in real time
• Run the line and work alongside the crew — filling, mixing, knocking, packing, quality checks, inventory counts, and general floor support
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility

Compliance & Quality

• Own batch documentation and track-and-trace accuracy (METRC) for Cache House production at the site
• Make sure product, packaging, and labeling meet spec and regulatory requirements before anything goes out — small errors here are expensive
• Flag quality or compliance risks early, with context

Logistics & Coordination

• Manage inbound and outbound logistics — receiving materials, coordinating deliveries, and running local pickups and drop-offs as needed
• Coordinate with vendors, the co-manufacturing partner's staff, and couriers to keep material flow on schedule

Operational Improvement

• Look for ways to improve flow, reduce waste, and tighten processes as the site scales
• Bring recurring issues to your manager with context and a suggested fix — not just a problem report
• Help build and refine SOPs for the Denver operation

Communication & Reporting

• Keep your manager and the broader ops team informed — early, clear communication is a core expectation, especially with leadership often off-site
• Track and report production output, material levels, and open issues on a regular cadence

• First few months: the crew runs the core process reliably, every station is covered by more than one person, and you're the person the floor turns to when something's off.
• Ongoing: batches pass testing the first time, orders ship on spec and on schedule, and the site's output and headcount grow without a proportional increase in hand-holding.

This is the ground floor of Cache House in Colorado. Build the crew and prove the site, and you grow with it — as the Colorado operation scales, so does the scope, the team, and the opportunity for the person who helped build it.

• Someone who shows up, takes ownership, and figures it out - this role rewards initiative over credentials
• Operates independently with a manager who's frequently off-site - you don't need someone standing over you
• Experience leading, training, or coaching others in a production, warehouse, or similar hands-on setting - you know how to get work out of a team, not just do it yourself
• Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift day to day
• Strong communicator who surfaces problems early and gives people what they need to decide
• Organized and detail-oriented - you track what needs tracking without being asked
• Comfortable getting things done through people you don't directly manage
• Must be 21 and able to obtain and hold a Colorado MED Employee License (badge) - current badge strongly preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle - local driving is a regular part of this role
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/move for extended periods
• Prior cannabis production or manufacturing experience preferred - warehouse or logistics leadership also strongly considered
  

• $50,000 – $60,000 annually, depending on experience
