As a Manager on the Portland Glass team, a typical day for you will

Include

• Managing the retail store to ensure customer expectations are
  
  

exceeded and resolving customer escalations in a professional and

timely manner

• Reading, understanding and analyzing monthly financial statements
  
  

and making improvements as needed

• Proactively coaching and developing team members to ensure success
  
  

in their respective roles and identifying opportunities for

recognition and development

• Purchasing inventory and products to sufficiently service customers
  
  

to ensure efficiency while keeping in line with the budget

• Ensuring all employees and team members strictly adhere to Portland
  
  

Glass safety standards and conducting regular safety meetings/

regularly inspecting PPE

• Overseeing that correct procedures are used to ensure safe
  
  

installations, meeting the designated architectural specifications

for flat glass installation

*(Required qualifications)*

• **3 years\' prior experience in retail/shop managementrequired,
  
  

glass/skilled labor experience a plus!**

• Must have OSHA-10 certification or the ability to obtain one through
  
  

Portland Glass

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related computed programs
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver\'s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test, per applicable
  
  

state laws

• **Education:**High school diploma/GED is required, associate\'s or
  
  

bachelors degree preferred

• **Physical requirements:**Must be able to lift minimum of 75 pounds
