What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swing Shift Glass Production position at Portland Glass Manufacturing?
We are currently seeking full time employees for all shifts in our glass tempering/fabricating facility. $22 to $26 per depending on experience. The primary starting station will be our CNC glass cutting bridge, though adjusting on the fly to assist different departments is expected. You will be responsible for operating both our cutting bridge and a 3 ton gantry crane for lifting stock sheets of glass.
Job Requirements:
· Must be able to accurately read a tape measure repeatedly and identify measurements from paperwork to assure accurate production.
· Candidate must be able to stand for an 8-10 hour shift.
· Attention to detail is required at all times.
· Ability to safely lift glass panels that weigh up to 100 lbs throughout your shift.
· Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but we will provide on-the-job training

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
