As a Manager on the Portland Glass team, a typical day for you will include:
- Ensuring all employees and team members strictly adhere to Portland Glass safety standards and conducting regular safety meetings/ regularly inspecting PPE
- Overseeing that correct procedures are used to ensure safe installations, meeting the designated architectural specifications for glass installation
- Managing the retail store to ensure customer expectations are exceeded and resolving customer escalations in a professional and timely manner
- Reading, understanding and analyzing monthly financial statements and making improvements as needed
- Proactively coaching and developing team members to ensure success in their respective roles and identifying opportunities for recognition and development
- Purchasing inventory and products to sufficiently service customers to ensure efficiency while keeping in line with the budget

(Required qualifications)
- Prior experience in business management required, prior glass experience/related skilled trades experience preferred!
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and related computer programs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to understand and analyze budget, financial statements, inventory, and related retail business procedures/reports
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test per applicable state laws
- Education: High school diploma/GED is required, associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Physical requirements: Must be able to lift minimum of 75 pounds
