Cashier/Customer Service at your local food co-op

The Portland Food Co-op is currently hiring for a cashier who will go the extra mile in providing outstanding service every day. Previous cashiering experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidates. Excellent verbal communication skills are required. This is a fast-paced retail environment, requiring the ability to work well with a wide range of personalities that comes with working with the general public.

The hours for this position are:

• Monday 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Tuesday 1:30 PM - 9:30 PM
• Wednesday 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Thursday 1:30 PM - 9:30 PM
• Friday 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Pay: $18.50 per hour
