What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapist /PT- Functional Neurology (neuroplasticity/vestibular) rehabilitation position at Portland Chiropractic Neurology?
Occupational Therapist / Physical Therapist – Functional Neurology & Neuroplasticity Rehabilitation
Portland Chiropractic Neurology & New England Hyperbaric
Portland, ME
Are you an Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist looking for something new, exciting, and deeply rewarding? Interested in applying your skills in a cutting‑edge neurological setting where you can directly influence long‑term patient outcomes? If so, you may be an excellent fit for our team.
Who We Are
We are a busy Functional Neurology practice specializing in neuroplasticity‑based rehabilitation. Our approach recognizes that we are not “just a body” or “just a brain,” but an integrated system. When communication between the brain and body breaks down, symptoms appear. Our clinicians — Functional Neurologists, Occupational Therapists, Nurse Practitioners, Chiropractors, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy providers — work together to restore these connections through targeted neuroplasticity rehabilitation.
Each eye movement corresponds to a specific region of the brain. By evaluating these movements, we identify neurological errors, trace them to the affected pathways, and rehabilitate them through precise neuroplasticity‑driven interventions. This is healthcare that treats the source of the problem, not just the symptoms.
