Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our
healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with various physical conditions to improve their mobility and quality of life. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as experience in acute care, orthopedics, and outpatient settings. The Physical Therapist will work collaboratively with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their specific needs.
Duties
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical abilities and limitations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including manual, trigger point therapy, to alleviate pain and improve function.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment options, exercises, and self-care strategies.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in discharge planning to facilitate a smooth transition for patients leaving therapy.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Qualifications
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Experience in acute care, orthopedics, or outpatient settings is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Ability to demonstrate strong patient care skills with a focus on improving quality of life.
- Familiarity with discharge planning.
