Duties
- Conduct comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on RVs to identify mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
- Perform routine maintenance such as brake repairs, sealants, appliances, winterization, and much more
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Troubleshoot complex systems like plumbing systems, HVAC, and electrical wiring to ensure full functionality
- Assemble or disassemble vehicle parts during repairs or upgrades with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair progress clearly to managers while providing excellent customer service throughout the process
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including transmissions, suspension components, HVAC units, and electrical wiring
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting safety practices (must be able to lift at least 50lbs regularly)
- Experience troubleshooting electrical issues
- Strong customer service skills
- Dealership experience or service technician background with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repairs is a plus but we are willing to train the right candidate as well
