We are open Monday - Thursday 8 am - 5 pm.
Ideal Candidates responsibilities include:
- Greet patients warmly and check them in and out
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails or messages
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments
- Manage patient flow and communicate wait times
- Handle patient questions and concerns professionally
Administrative Tasks
- Maintain and update patient records (paper or electronic)
- Verify patient information and obtain necessary forms
- Process billing, invoices, and receipts
- Handle cash, card, and insurance co-payments
- Prepare daily reports and balance the front desk
Insurance & Billing
- Verify dental insurance coverage and eligibility
- Submit insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims
- Explain treatment costs, payment plans, and insurance benefits to patients
- Obtain pre-authorizations when required
Communication & Coordination
- Coordinate schedules between dentists, hygienists, and patients
- Communicate with dental labs, suppliers, and insurance companies
- Relay messages between patients and clinical staff
Office Organization
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming
- Order and manage office supplies
- Ensure confidentiality and comply with privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
Support to Dental Team
- Assist with general office tasks as needed
- Help maintain an efficient and calm office environment
- Support practice policies and procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
