We are looking for a skilled and versatile Exterior Home Improvement Contractor Service Technician to join our team! This role involves experience in siding installation and replacement, roofing repairs and replacements, window and door installations, and gutter services. From working with materials like fiber cement, vinyl, asphalt shingles, and metal roofing to ensuring proper sealing, hardware installation, and water drainage, you'll play a vital role in enhancing and protecting homes. Your services performed will include:
- Siding*
- Installation and replacement of a variety of siding, including fiber cement,
and Vinyl.
- Roofing/Roof Repairs*
- Roofing services range from minor repairs sure as pipe collars to
replacements to shingle a section on a roof.
- Knowing roofing materials, including asphalt shingles and metal roofing
and low slope
- Window and Door Installations
- Removing old windows and frames, preparing openings, and installing
new windows, doors, and related hardware.
- Ensuring windows are properly sealed to prevent drafts and leaks.
- Installing hardware.
- Gutter and downspout installation and repair
- Ensure proper water drainage and protect a foundation from damage with
gutter and downspout services.
- Sealing joints
- Installing Gutter Guards
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 2 years proven experience in exterior home improvement services, including siding, roofing, window and door installations, and gutter systems.
- Knowledge of materials such as fiber cement, vinyl siding, asphalt shingles, metal roofing, and low-slope roofing systems.
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment required for installation, repair, and maintenance tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality craftsmanship.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions and heights.
- Customer service skills to interact with clients as needed.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation.
