We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and service-oriented Full-Time Server to join our Dining Services team! The ideal candidate is passionate about providing exceptional customer service, enjoys building relationships, and takes pride in creating a positive dining experience for residents and guests.

As a Server, you will play an essential role in ensuring our residents receive attentive, timely, and professional dining service while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly while providing courteous, attentive, and professional service.
• Take accurate meal orders, answer menu questions, and serve food and beverages efficiently.
• Recognize and accommodate residents' dietary requirements, preferences, and individual needs.
• Prepare dining areas for meal service, including setting tables, arranging dining supplies, and maintaining an inviting atmosphere.
• Clear tables, clean and sanitize dining areas, and complete assigned daily cleaning responsibilities.
• Assist with meal preparation, tray service, special events, and other Dining Services activities as needed.
• Follow established food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures.
• Work collaboratively with Dining Services staff and other departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, coworkers, and guests.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of Pines Village.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous serving, dining, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Must possess a Food Handler's/ServSafe certification or be willing and able to obtain the required certification.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and prioritize responsibilities.
• Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain a positive, professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have flexible availability to work all shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays, based on departmental needs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, reach, and perform the physical duties associated with dining service, with or without reasonable accommodation.
