What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Clinical Respiratory Therapy Instructor - Lancaster, PA position at Porter & Chester Instit?
The Respiratory Therapy program is based out of our Altoona, PA campus. This position will assist with precepting students for the program in the Lancaster, PA area.
Clinical Instructors provide primary supervision of students during clinical activities. They must be a resource to students at all times, review all documentation and maintain two‐way communications throughout the assigned shift with the student. Clinical Instructors must also utilize instructional methodology consistent with YTI Career Institute’s learning model to the levels and needs of individual students that will ultimately cause students to develop employable skills leading them to jobs that are commensurate with student ability and employer expectation.
Teaching experience is NOT required; training provided

Position Requirements:
- Must be a current Registered Respiratory Therapist working at Penn State Health Medical Center in Lancaster, PA
- 3 years work experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Current license in Pennsylvaias a RCP
- RRT Certification required
- Associates Degree from an accredited CoArc program
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great interpersonal skills
